Combining Toikka’s passion for nature and blown glass art, each bird is a unique art object. Handcrafted and mouthblown at the Iittala Glass Factory, the collection embodies a rich fusion of glassmaking traditions and Toikka’s partnership with his master craftsmen. Birds by Toikka Sky Curlew embodies the light airiness of birds. His streamlined design extends from his long, narrow beak to his thin tail while his silvery luster combines with a soft baby blue glass that results in a bird that is as dreamy as the sky itself.
