Product Overview
This HIC saki pot is for serving Japan's national beverage. Saki is brewed from fermented rice in a process similar to that of beer. Japanese saki is traditionally served warmed in a porcelain bottle (tokkuri) and sipped from small porcelain cup (guinomi.) The classic design of HIC's Sake Pot offers an elegant presentation at any table. For hot sake, simply warm the sake carafe under warm tap water and dry thoroughly. Gently heat sake on the stovetop and pour it into the warmed decanter. The heated porcelain will keep sake warmer longer. Should sake become too cool, just pop the sake-filled carafe into the microwave for easy reheating. To serve cold sake, cool down the sake pot in the fridge or freezer and fill it with chilled sake. The chilled porcelain will keep sake colder longer. Made from fine-quality porcelain, HIC's Sake Pot is safe for use in the microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher. It won't transfer odors, colors or flavors between uses. Dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. Harold Import Co., offers quality culinary supplies and essential cooking tools to keep you cooking.
