The Wusthof 2-stage Hand-Held Asian Knife Sharpener is safe and easy to use. Place the sharpener on a flat work surface and hold the soft grip handle with one hand and the knife handle with the other. Insert the knife blade fully into the slot at a 90-degree angle to the sharpener and pull back a few times to sharpen. After setting the knife's edge with the carbide side, use the unit's ceramic side to nicely finish the edge.
- Designed for use with blades of Asian design such as Santoku and Nakiri, this versatile sharpener is weighted and includes a rubberized base and comfortable soft-grip handle
- The narrow blade angle of you Santoku and Nakiri knives will be sharp as new with just a few strokes. The sharpener provides two slots, one each for coarse and fine sharpening
- The coarse sharpening stage utilizes crossed, hard carbide steel blades, while the fine, honing stage is performed with fine ceramic rods
- These two stages sharpen the edge to a 20 angle, or 10 per side
