- Directions: Remove screw from plastic handle, rotate plastic handle down to remove tension from old wire. Slide the U arm out of the cutting board. Using a small screwdriver or nail punch, carefully push the pin holding the wire onto the plastic handle out of the plastic handle. Remove old wire. Place a new wire into the plastic handle and replace the pin making sure that the pin goes through the wire loop. Slide the U arm into the cutting board until it reaches the wire slot. Line up the second wire loop with the U arm in the wire slot and slide the arm the rest of the way into the cutting board. Rotate the plastic handle up to tension the wire. Make sure the screw holes are aligned and replace the screw. You may need to slide the U arm in or out in order to make sure the wire lines up correctly in the wire slot.
