Product Overview
The Bing & Grøndahl Christmas plate was the first of its kind in the world, when it was created in 1895. Today, the evocative motifs and noble craftsmanship of the plate has grown into a full series of Bing & Grøndahl Collectibles, known and loved around the world.
High up in the Andes, the alpaca mother gazes across the snow-capped mountains. Her soft alpaca baby walks by her side, following her closely through the snow. The Bing & Grøndahl Mother’s Day plate has been issued every year since 1969. The design, created by artist Allan Therkelsen, depicts motherly love in beautiful blue underglaze colours.
