On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me: ten lords a-leaping. The Ten Lords A-Leaping represent the Ten Commandments. Joyce Byers created unique Carolers to represent each of the 12 Days of Christmas. This period begins on December 25th and runs through the 12 days of the Christmas Season.
